Whatever your personal interests, put them in your pockets- Buhari tells APC members
President Buhari asked APC members to put their personal interest in their pocket and allow the party system work. He gave the charge during his opening remarks at the party's NEC meeting currently holding at the party's National secretariat in Abuja.
"What ever your personal interests, put them in your pocket. Let APC work. Let the system work. I appeal to you to accept the superiority of the party. I cannot confine myself in Sambisa forest and refuse to participate in the meeting because I respect the superiority of the party.” he saidSenator Saaraki and Hon Yakubu Dogara are present at the meeting while Bola Tinubu is absent.

Actress Kate Henshaw, whose Lekki Home was gutted by a fire last week took to her Instagram page today to thank all who have reached out to her. She wrote;

In addition to his walk out stuff,I think he also need the services of a doctor and a dietician.Her wifehas also a role to play.Let her curtail the amount of food she gives to him.Unless she wants the handsome politician to go ugly.I think a one day daily diet and reduction of fatty and alcohol food intake will help him a lot.

Former Miss Nigeria Rita Anuku is dead( Hank anuku,s sister)
The family of Rita Anuku, the 1986 Miss Nigerian has released a statement that the beauty queen passed away this morning, July 2nd at an undisclosed Abuja hospital. According to a family source, the beauty queen has been battling with cancer for the past two years and gave up the ghost this morning.
Late Rita Anuku was a first cousin of Hon. David Anuku, former commissioner of Special Duties in Delta State and younger sister of Nollywood actor, Hank Anuku. She is survived by four children, three girls and a boy.
Twenty five years ago she was sensationally crowned as Nigeria’s queen of beauty as an 18-year old secondary school leaver. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
