Man sets 8 years old girl ablaze over withcraft

A 60 year old man in Barakin-ladi local government area of plateau state has been arrested for setting an eight year old ablaze on a suspicion of being a witch and for being behind series of incidents within the locality on Tuesday at about 10. 34am when most people had gone to work.
 The sspect,identified as Yakubu vong, was said to have asked the girl to house where he doused her with petrol and set her ablaze. It was gathered that the man, after setting the girl ablaze locked the room in the building. The cry of the girl attracted passers by who forced the door open and rushed her to the hospital.
   The police public relations officer, plateau state command, Emmanuel. Abu, who confirmed the. Incident said the man has been arrested and investigation in to the matter has commenced.
