Mother of 2 commits suicide in ondo

A 40 year old mother  of two identified. As Seyi Adekwuni has reportedly committed suicide in Akure, ondo state capital,her body was found in an uncompleted building beside her house at olu foam area of akura metropolis.
    People trooped to the deceased residence when the news spread,her husband Gbenga Adewunmi expressed shock. Over the ugly incident, he said he went to vigil on Tuesday only to come back to see the body of his wife he said.
    Last night been Tuesday I went to a vigil organised by my church, I left her hale and hearty. But to my surprise I got home this morning and saw some of our neighbours gathered in front of our house "they broke the news to me and took me to where she hanged herself.He described the incident as a mystery to him and that he was yet to understand what could have led his wife to commit suicide.

Edo woman flings her newborn baby over a fence into dust bin

A 25 year old woman, identified as joy Tunde was on Tuesday nabbed after she confessed to have dumped her three days old baby to an uncompleted building.
      She reportedly threw the baby over a fence the uncompleted residential building at obazuaye street, off osakpamwan street, Evabarek quaters Egor local government area of Edo state. The act was said to have been committed at about 2am on Saturday, but residents in the area discovered the baby three days later.
    Residents were prevented from beating up the mother after she confessed to the crime,the baby confessed to the act when they threatened to deploy spiritual means to investigate the incident.
   Joy said she threw the baby away  because she had a previous "unwanted"baby for another man, the woman said she threw the baby away after the man that impregnated her refused to accept responsibility for the baby.

Man sets 8 years old girl ablaze over withcraft

A 60 year old man in Barakin-ladi local government area of plateau state has been arrested for setting an eight year old ablaze on a suspicion of being a witch and for being behind series of incidents within the locality on Tuesday at about 10. 34am when most people had gone to work.
 The sspect,identified as Yakubu vong, was said to have asked the girl to house where he doused her with petrol and set her ablaze. It was gathered that the man, after setting the girl ablaze locked the room in the building. The cry of the girl attracted passers by who forced the door open and rushed her to the hospital.
   The police public relations officer, plateau state command, Emmanuel. Abu, who confirmed the. Incident said the man has been arrested and investigation in to the matter has commenced.
